Hop on and follow me to the trendy Testaccio district. This area is a real nightlife hotspot, and also has some cool ancient ruins. I’m talking about the old Roman port and the Pyramid of Cestius. We’ll pause to check out both of these historic spots. The Testaccio neighborhood is seriously reinventing itself! We are going to head over to one of the coolest renovation examples here, an ex-slaughterhouse which is now a contemporary art museum. Now that is a transformation! Ready to see some street art? Head over to the gritty Ostiense area. This neighborhood has stunning street art. Admire the giant murals and take in the hipster vibes. Fancy somewhere a bit greener? Explore Garbatella, Rome’s garden city. We’ll pedal through this leafy suburb and check out the many secret gardens. Want to shake the route up a bit?
